A digibook is a perfect bound book accompanied by a compact disc. The disc can be CD, DVD, Blu-ray, or even an USB drive. The front and back covers of a digibook can have finishing such as glossy, matte, or even cloth with texture.
The compact disc can be held by a sleeve at the beginning or at the end of the book. If you have more than one disc then one or more sleeves can be attached. Beside sleeves, trays in different shapes and material can also be used instead.
Digibook is ideal for audio book and story book publishing. It is definitely an elegant way to put a book and a compact disc together. Digibook not only functions as a great protection for the disc, it also enhances the prestigious level of the whole product.
Due to the possibility of having many number of pages for the booklet, there is no fixed template for digibook. If you are intersted in ordering digibook from us, please let us know your requirements and we will be glad to custom create a template for you.
Making digibook requires many more steps than other standard packaging. The average lead-time to complete a digibook project is about 3 weeks. Please do communicate with us on your deadline requirement in case you need a shorter lead-time. We will try our best to accommodate and help.
Shipping options include ground (1 to 5-day depends on where you are located), 3-Day, 2-Day, and overnight. We encourage you to plan ahead so you can use ground shipping. In general the cost difference between ground and overnight is quite big.
For your reference, 1,000 digibooks with one disc and 40-page book weight about 350 lb.
