Almost all Blu-ray replicators in the world, there are only 30 or so, only accept Blu-ray replication master in form of BD-CMF. Unfortunately not all Blu-ray authoring software can output or export BDCMF. Most consumer level software can only output the authoring result as BDMV. However BDVM cannot be used for replication although it can be played on almost all Blu-ray players. If you do not have access to softwar that can output BDCMF, New Cyberian will take your BDMV disc and convert it to BDCMF for you.
Listed below are software that are known to be able to create replication ready Blu-ray Disc™ in BDCMF format
- Sony Blu-Print
- Roxio DVDit ProHD - A discontinued Roxio product. Try to find it from other after market sources.
- Scenarist BD Studio - The software has changed hands many times. Rovi is the current owner but its selling strategy is unclear. You cannot find this product on Rovi's website.
There are many programs that can output BDMV which is acceptable by New Cyberian as replication ready Blu-ray Disc™ master. Listed below are some of the most common ones.
A Blu-ray case is the only form of packaging that is designed for people to easily identify a Blu-ray™ product. Until Blu-ray™ dominates the market in the future, we suggest use the Blu-ray cases for packaging so your audience will not put a Blu-ray™ disc into a standard DVD player.
From the Packaging pull-down choose Blu-ray Cases if you need Blu-ray case packaging.
Based on your selections from the options menus we have determined that you will need the following artwork templates.
You will need either Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator to open the template. If you use non-standard fonts please either send us the font files, outline the fonts (Illustrator), or rasterize the fonts (Photoshop). Missing font is a common problem we face when clients use non-standard fonts.
We can also accept artwork in other format from programs such as CorelDraw, Quark, Gimp as long as the following specifications are met.
- 300 dpi,
- CMYK mode,
- Artwork diameter is 116mm. The inner non-printable area diameter is 23mm.

Burn the finished artwork on a CD and mail it to us together with the content master Blu-ray disc to be replicated. You can also send us the artwork electronically to email@example.com by using free service provided by www.yousendit.com or www.sendspace.com.
You can submit your master on BD-R, USB or Firewire hard drive, or DLT tape. When you submit the master on BD-R the accptable format should be BDCMF or BDMV. If you submit in BDMV format New Cyberian will convert your master into BDCMF format. Do not submit BD-R in BDAV format because it is useless for BD replication. For DLT submission the acceptable formats are BD CMF 0.9 and SONY CMF. You can use Windows Backup utility to copy the CMF file set to a high quality DLT III or DLT IV cassette tape. For hard drive submission, the requirement is same as DLT but the BDCMF files are stored on hard drive instead of the DLT cassette tapes
If you place the order online, please include a copy of the online invoice when you send us the master by mail.
New Cyberian Systems guarantees the replicated Blu-ray discs will be exactly the same as the master provided to us by our clients. We will not be liable for any latent errors that are inherent in the content. Please make sure to check and test the master before sending it to us.
If you choose to send us file(s) digitally, please be aware that there is potential risk of missing data or data corruption. In the event this ever happens, you agree to hold New Cyberian harmless for any losses. New Cyberian will do its best to help mitigate the losses and you agree to compensate New Cyberian for the additional expense for re-running the replication job.
